I have begun using OML to keep track of my TV series. These are all dvd rips and I stire them in a Video_TS on my WHS. What I ahve done is setup one "Movie" for each season of a particular show. Then added the various volumes to that "Movie" under as disks of that movie. Then in the synopsis I can denote which episodes are contained on each volume. It appears to work well.
Then, I noticed that in a recent build the varification of file and folder paths to movies was delayed until that particular movie has been selected and the change to the details page begins. With OML trying to varify each one of thos disks before presentiing the details page it appears to the user that the program has hung. Is there any way to have a progress bar for that process or simpply do it in the background when OML is opened to the home page (would that cause OML to slow down its loading procedures)? Perhaps a popup in case an invalid path is found directing the user how to correct the problem. As more and more content is going to be loacted in different place around the home we need a way to keep up the GUI with most users short attention spans (everyone else at my house waits 2 seconds and if nothing happens click again) and do the work with as little effect on the experience as possible. Again, I would like to thank all of the developers for there hard work and excellent progress on a really promising project.
