It's just a future request. Everyone is not using PDVD9 yet, I can wait until it gains respect

Just setup the external BluRay player as pointing to PDVD9, and then disable the maximizer.exe utility by renaming it.  Should then work just like TMT.

Unable to enter the path for PDVD9. Scan function not returning any value. I have no PDVD8 available so far.

Just choose "Other" and point the path in the direction of PowerDVD 9.  It works, Im using it for standard DVD.  I will tell you though, its not exactly "seamless".  I keep having issues of after you try to go back to VMC, it wont come back but rather its like stuck on minimized

When i select other, there is no text area available to enter path.

As usual, when i set to Auto Play, like PDVD8 the external PDVD9 kicks and continue playing BDVD.

I would like to see this BDVD play with in VMC. It's not happening for me

Can you post your settings. is there something that is missing in PDVD to launch a movie with in VMC. Like you mention, even when you select SDVD it should play with in VMC using PDVD9. I wonder is it something todo with PDVD9. Or OML needs to kick off the PDVD9 to play with in VMC. Just curioius

It doesnt play "within" VMC, it just basically opens up the PowerDVD 9 VMC interface which is seperate from VMC.  I think its called Cinema something...within the main player.

I would like to see PowerDVD 9 integration as well for Blu Ray and DVD playback. The improvements in DVD quality is really impressive in PowerDVD 9 and would be a great addition.

Does anyone know whether PD9 will be able to play DVDs from a file structure or will I have to convert to iso?

I am using PowerDVD 9 DX to play movies from both and VIDEO_TS structures. Works extremely well. As another user stated, it does not automatically return cleanly to the calling app ... doesn't hang ... just leaves the calling app minimized.
