I've gone through the install of the latest build several times.  When I open the dbEditor, it hangs at "Checking database".  I've uninstalled and reinstalled many times already.

Is there a place I can find a more recent build without compiling it myself?  Is anyone posting new builds?  I'm looking for a 64bit version installer.  Can anyone help me out?

There are currently no new builds posted. Most of my changes over the last week and a half have been focused on cleaning up the code for the next release. As soon as source is clean I'm pushing out a test build for those to validate specific issues before doing a public release.

Not sure why you are hanging on the editor. Have you checked the logs?

im getting a error post installer not found and it wont install slq is there a way to fix this without reistalling os thanks andrew think it has something to do with sp1 windows7 32 bit

Kobra351, SP1 isn't even beta yet. You can try installing SQL manually. Take a look at the wiki for more information. http://code.google.com/p/open-media-library/wiki/InstallSQLServerManually

sorry ment sp1 for slq will give it a go or wait for next release will we have these problems with next release thanks andrew

I'm not exactly sure what your error is. It sounds like you are having issues with the SQL part of the install because it is not SQLSP1, is that correct?
